Located just a short walk from the Brooklyn Museum of Art, this cozy eatery is helmed by celebrity chef Cheryl Smith, former star of the Food Network’s Melting Pot. As the name suggests, the menu here travels the world of comfort food, with prolonged layovers in Asia and Northern Africa: Steamed mussels swim in a Thai coconut curry sauce; a Moroccan vegetable tagine is served on a bed of couscous pilaf; and salmon is glazed with sake and accompanied by jasmine rice and nori.
